INES at SAC 2016

Kiev Gama (CIn/UFPE) will attend the ACM Symposium on Applied Computing 2016 (SAC 2016) to present the paper entitled: “Reconfigurable Trust Policies for Untrustworthy Third-party Components”. Authors: Kiev Gama and Didier Donsez. The conference will be held in Pisa, Italy from April 4th to 8th, 2016

Researcher from UFRN, Uirá Kulesza, visits UFCG

Professor Uira Kulesza from UFRN will visit UFCG from 14/12/2015 to 15/12/2015. The technical visit is aimed at increasing the interaction between researchers of both universities to establish future cooperations.

INES Researcher visits Open University of London

Prof. Teresa Maciel, from UFRPE, is going to visit the Open University of London, in December. The visit aims to identify research collaboration opportunities, especially in research areas related to Software Enginnering.

INES Acquires Equipment

The INES project “An Integrated Infrastructure for Development of Applications Involving Analytics and Big Data” is acquiring equipments to be used by its members.

Technical visit of Prof. Giovanny Lucero from UFS to the Stevens Institute of Technology

Prof. Giovanny Lucero Palma from UFS is going to visit the Prof. David Naumann at the Stevens Institute of Technology, in New Jersey, USA, from 16/11/2015 to 20/11/2015.

The visit is part of a longstanding collaboration with Professor Augusto Sampaio, my PhD supervisor, and Prof Naumann, on formal methods in software engineering. Prof. Naumman also supervised me in my sandwich doctorate during Spring 2013 when  we completed a collaborative research paper that was published in the APLAS conference.

During the upcoming visit we will continue that project with the goal of completing a paper we plan to submit to the Journal of Theoretical Computer Science.

INES at ICSEA 2015

Kiev Gama (CIn/UFPE) will attend the International Conference on Software Engineering and Advances 2015 (ICSEA 2015) to present the paper entitled: “Recovering Lost Software Design with the help of Aspect-based Abstractions”. Authors: Kiev Gama and Didier Donsez. The conference will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from November 15th to 20th, 2015

Technical visit of Prof. Leila Silva from UFS to UFPE

Prof. Leila Silva from UFS is going to visit UFPE from 20/10/2015 to 22/10/2015 to colaborate with Prof. Augusto Sampaio in the context of a project in Education in Computer Science.

INES researcher Gustavo Soares (UFCG) will attend to the Dagstuhl Schloss Seminar 2015: Approaches and Applications of Inductive Programming, in Dagstuhl, Germany, taking place from October 25 to October 30. The invitation-only Dagstuhl seminars bring together the world’s leading researchers, practitioners, and young talents to discuss their ideas.
