Professor Rafael Prikladnicki (PUC- RS) is going to visit UFRPE and UFPE in February, 2011. During 3 days, Rafael will have meetings with professors and students from the university, about research and collaboration projects.

INES at Journal Software Practice and Experience (SPE)

INES researchers members from the project An Investigation of Methods, Processes, Tools, and Metrics for the Development of Software Product Lines (SPL)” — in portuguese, Uma Investigação de Processos, Ferramentas e Métricas para o Desenvolvimento de Linhas de Produto de Software has an accepted paper at Software: Practice and Experience (SPE) Journal, special issue on Agile Software Product Lines.

INES at ICST 2011

The INES project will be present in the Fourth IEEE International Conference on Software Testing, Verification and Validation that will be held in Berlin, 21-25 March 2011. The following paper will be presented in the AMOST workshop: Abstracting Time and Data for Conformance Testing of Real-Time Systems.

ICTS is the premier conference in all areas related to software quality. The focus is on both research papers and industrial experience reports from software development and testing practitioners.

INES at V EBTS

The members Caliane Figuerêdo, Viviane Lyrio, Renato Dantas, Rafael Nascimento, e Jaça Reis, of the project “Software Productivity Laboratory Network”, will participate in the V Encontro Brasileiro de Testes de Software (EBTS), that will happen in Recife-PE, on April 15 – 16.

Definition of a Software Development Testbed hires researcher

The project “Definition of a Software Development Testbed” hires an undergraduate researcher to work on the testbed definition.

Prof. David Weiss is going to visit UFBA

Professor Dr. David Weiss (IOWA State University, U.S.) is going to visit the Software Engineering Lab at UFBA during June-July, 2011. During this period, David will have meetings with professors and students from the university, give talks and discuss collaboration projects.
