Gustavo Soares from Federal University of Campina Grande is going to visit Univesity of Oxford from 31th to 2th July to work with Max Schaefer on Making Program Refactoring Safer. He is going to present his PhD work and see the latest results of Schaefer’s group.

2nd internal evaluation at CSBC 2011

INES is performing its 2nd evaluation meeting at the CSBC 2011, in Natal-RN.

INES at ESEIW/ESEM/IDOESE2011

INES researchers will participate in the Empirical Software Engineering International Week (ESEIW 2011) (http://esem.cpsc.ucalgary.ca/esem2011/), world´s flagship event on Empirical Software Engineering.

They will present two papers during the event, one at the 5th ACM/IEEE International Symposium on Empirical Software Engineering and Measurement (ESEM 2011) and another at The IDOESE Doctoral Symposium (IDoESE2011), as follows:

– IDOESE Doctoral Symposium Research Plan – TITLE:”Analyzing the Impact of Beliefs in Software Project Practices”

INES at ICFEM 2011

The PhD studend Joabe Jesus, INES researcher member from the project Tests Generation, Selection, Prioritization and Processing Product Line — in portuguese, Linhas de Produtos de Geração, Seleção, Priorização e Processamento de Testes, has an accepted paper at 13th International Conference on Formal Engineering Methods [ICFEM] that will be in Durham, UK, from 26 to October 28.

INES at FEES/CBSoft

The paper “Teaching Software Engineering Fundamentals in an Introductory Computer Programming Course” was accepted for publication at the Education Forum on Software Engineering (FEES), in conjunction with the 2nd Congress on Software: Theory and Practice (CBSoft).

This activity is part of the project  “An Investigation of Methods, Processes, Tools, and Metrics for the Development of Software Product Lines (SPL)” — in portuguese, Uma Investigação de Processos, Ferramentas e Métricas para o Desenvolvimento de Linhas de Produto de Software.
