UFRN Researchers will be at CBSoft 2012

Professors Marcel Oliveira and Umberto Costa, PhD students Madiel Filho, Samuel Barrocas, and Sarah Silva and MSc Students Diego Oliveira and Ivan Júnior will participate in the 3rd CBSoft. CBSoft will be held from Sep 23 to Sep 29 in Natal, Brazil.

INES at CPA 2012

INES researchers members from the project Combinando Técnicas de Métodos Formais e Teste na Construção de Sistemas Embarcados de Tempo Real – UFRN/UFCG/UFPE , had one paper accepted at Communicating Process Architectures 2012, the 34th WoTUG conference on concurrent and parallel programming. The paper JCircus 2.0: an extension of an automatic translator from Circus by S. L. M. Barrocas and M. V. M. Oliveira will be presented at the conference, which will take place at the University of Abertay Dundee, in Dundee, Scotland, from Sunday August 26th to Wednesday August 29th 2012. All the expenses will be funded by INES.

INES at SBCARS (2012)

INES researchers members from the project An Investigation of Methods, Processes, Tools, and Metrics for the Development of Software Product Lines (SPL) — in portuguese, Uma Investigação de Processos, Ferramentas e Métricas para o Desenvolvimento de Linhas de Produto de Software, had two accepted papers at 6th Brazilian Symposium on Software Components, Architectures and Reuse (SBCARS).

The papers are:

1. An Investigation on the Impact of MDE on Software Reuse by Daniel Lucrédio, Eduardo Almeida and Renata P. M. Fortes
2. Evidence from Risk Management in Software Product Lines Development: A Cross-Case Analysis by  Luanna Lopes Lobato, Paulo Anselmo da Mota Silveira Neto, Ivan do Carmo Machado, Eduardo Almeida and Silvio Meira.

The Software Engineering Lab (SRG Group) is acquiring equipment

The Software Engineering Lab (SRG Group), associated to the project “Confiabilidade e Segurança em Software Crítico”, is acquiring equipment.

UFPE (SRG group) Researchers will be at CBSoft 2012

Professor Andre Santos, PhD students Tarciana Dias da Silva, Giovanny Fernando Lucero Palma, Joabe Bezerra de Jesus Júnior, Diego Machado Dias, the MSc student Marcelo Costa and Prof. Sidney Nogueira, MSc students Felype Santiago and Paola Accioly, PhD student Márcio Ribeiro will participate in the 3rd CBSoft. CBSoft will be held from Sep 23 to Sep 29 in Natal, Brazil.

Other UFCG researchers will be at CBSoft 2012

Profs. Tiago Massoni, Jorge Figueiredo and Dalton Serey will participate in the 3rd CBSoft. Tiago will be chair of the MSc. and Doctoral Symposium and member of SBES and SBMF program committee. Dalton had a paper accepted at the satellite event “SugarloafPlop”, and will participate in the steering committee meeting for the WMSWM event. Jorge is member of several program committees for symposia held within CBSoft.

CBSoft will be held from Sep 23 to Sep 29 in Natal, Brazil. The researchers both work in the INES research: “Data structure migration through Refactoring”.

UFS Research at CBSOFT 2012

INES researcher Marcos Dósea from the project “Software Productivity Laboratory Network”  will attend the 3st Brazilian Conference on Software: Theory and Practice (CBSoft) in Natal. The aim is to bring new ideas and estabilish new contacts to LabPS/UFS.

INES at LA-WASP and CBSoft 2012

INES researchers Felipe Queiroz and Sergio Soares will present a paper at LA-WASP 2012 and attend CBSoft 2012 in Natal.

The paper title is “Towards a Better Understanding of Feature Dependencies in Preprocessor-based Systems” and the authors are Felipe Queiroz, Marcio Ribeiro, Sergio Soares and Paulo Borba. the paper will be published at the proceedings of the 6th Latin American Workshop on Aspect-Oriented Software Development (LA-WASP 2012).

UFCG Researchers at CBSOFT 2012

Prof. Patricia Machado, Prof. Franklin Ramalho and Prof. Wilkerson Andrade together with the Doctoral Students Everton Alves and Adriana Damasceno will attend CBSoft 2012 to present a Tutorial and 3 Tools. This activity is part of the project “Combining Formal Methods and Testing in the Development of Real-Time Embedded Systems.

INES member is going to attend CBSoft 2012

Profa. Leila Silva is going to attend CBSoft 2012 in Natal. She is member of the steering committee of SBMF and will act in the discution phase of WTDSoft 2012.
