The paper Preprocessing Unbalanced Data using Weighted Support Vector Machines for Prediction of Heart Disease in Children has been accepted as full paper for publication at IJCNN 2013 – International Joint Conference on Neural Networks. The conference will be held on 4-9 August 2013, in Dallas, USA. This paper will be presented by Prof. Adriano L. I. Oliveira (CIn/UFPE), INES coordinator of the project Software Project Effort Estimation with Computational Intelligence and Statistics.

INES at ICALT 2013 – The 13th IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies

The paper Architecture for Social Interactions Monitoring in Collaborative Learning Environments as a support for the Teacher’s Awareness has been accepted as full paper for publication at ICALT 2013 – The 13^th IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies. The conference will be held on 15-18 July 2013, in Beijing, China. This paper will be presented by Dr. Ricardo Amorim (FACAPE/UNEB), INES coordinator of the project Development by Models and Ontologies in the building of educational application.

INES acquires Notebook

The INES project “Qualidade & Velocidade no Desenvolvimento de Software” is acquiring a notebook to support experiments of researchers at UFPB. The project is buying a Sony Vaio Intel Core i7.

INES at SEKE 13

The paper “Dynamic Adaptation of Cloud Computing Applications” was accepted for publication at 25st International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (SEKE).

The PhD student Leopoldo Teixeira from Federal University of Pernambuco is going to visit UFCG from May 2nd to 4th to work with the professor Rohit Gheyi on the topic of “Software Product Line evolution”.
