UFPB researcher at SAC 2015

Professor Gledson Elias will attend the 30th ACM/SIGAPP Symposium On Applied Computing (SAC 2015), where the papers “BranchGuide: An Indexing Technique for Efficient, Lossless Processing of Branching Path Queries” and “A Quantitative, Evidence-based Approach for Recommending Software Modules” will be presented. This activity is part of the project  “Investigating Algorithms, Techniques and Tools for Search Based Software Engineering” — in portuguese, Investigando Algoritmos, Técnicas e Ferramentas para Engenharia de Software Baseada em Buscas.

Researcher from UFRN visits UFCG

Professor Marco César Goldbarg from UFRN will visit UFCG from 15/12/2014 to 18/12/2014. The technical visit is aimed at increasing the interaction between researchers of both universities. Furthermore, he will provide talks and will have meetings with project’s team towards establishing future cooperations.

The graduate student José Gildo will attend the 30th ACM/SIGAPP Symposium On Applied Computing, where the papers:  “A Supervised Learning Approach to Detect Subsumption Relations Between Tags in Folksonomies” and “An Approach for Building Lexical-Semantic Resources Based on Heterogeneous Information Sources” will be presented. This activity is part of the project “Uma Infra-estrutura Integrada para Desenvolvimento de Aplicações Envolvendo Analytics e Big-Data”.

Rafael Roballo Wanderley (MSc student) will attend CCNC 2015, in Las Vegas (USA), where he will present the paper “A Web-based platform for Scavenger Hunt Games using the Internet of Things”.

The article is part of the project “Barramento de Serviços para Cidades Inteligentes”.
