Researcher from UFCG visits UFRN

Professor Reinaldo Cézar de Morais Gomes from UFCG visits UFRN from 27/04/2015 to 30/04/2015. The technical visit is aimed at providing a talk and interaction (meetings) between researchers of both universities to discusss about data collection from remote sensors in the context of Big Data.

INES at SBSI/2015

Kássio Ribeiro Coquita (UFPE MSc student) will attend to the XI Simpósio Brasileiro de Sistemas de Informação (SBSI 2015) that will be held in Goiânia-GO-Brazil from May-26-2015 to May-29-2015. He is the main author of the paper “Sistema de Previsão do Tempo de Chegada dos Ônibus Baseado em Dados Históricos Utilizando Modelos de Regressão” which will be presented in that venue.

The article is part of the project UbiTrans to route recommendation using public multimodal transportation.

INES at SBSI 2015

Marcelo Iury (UFPE PhD student) and Herbertt Diniz (UFPE MSc student) will attend to the XI Simpósio Brasileiro de Sistemas de Informação (SBSI 2015) that will be held in Goiânia-GO-Brazil from May-26-2015 to May-29-2015. They are the main authors of the papers “Waldo: Serviço para Publicação e Descoberta de Produtores de Dados para Middleware de Cidades Inteligentes” and “Uma Arquitetura de Referência para Plataforma de Crowdsensing em Smart Cities“, respectively, which will be presented in that venue.

UFPE Researcher at Agile Trends 2015

Teresa Maciel, Professor at UFRPE and INES Researcher, will attend the Agile Trends Conference, in São Paulo, as one of its organizers. The researcher will also meet  representants of some Brazilian companies to identify cooperation opportunities between academy and industry.

Researcher from FACAPE/UNEB visits UFBA

Prof. Ricardo Amorim (FACAPE/UNEB) will visit UFBA on May 28, 2015, in order to attend meetings with researchers involved in the project “Using Expert Finding techniques to design context-sensitive bug tracking systems.” The researchers will discuss ongoing research work in the context of INES project.

INES at ICSE 2015

INES researcher Gustavo Pinto has one paper accepted for publication and presentation at the 12th Working Conference on Mining Software Repositories (MSR 2015), co-located with ICSE 2015, in Florence, Italy, on May 16th – 17th May 2015. Gustavo will be attending the conference.

ForAll UFRN adquire equipamentos para melhoria ergonômica

Visando a melhoria ergonômica de suas instalações, o ForAll da UFRN adquiriu um suporte para dois monitores a ser utilizado por seus pesquisadores. Inicialmente será feito um teste com o suporte adquirido visando uma possível adequação de seus espaços.
