UFS Research at CBSOFT 2016

INES researcher Marcos Dósea from the project “Software Productivity Laboratory Network”  will attend the 7st Brazilian Conference on Software: Theory and Practice (CBSoft) in Maringá, from the 19th to the 23th of September 2016. He will present three papers: (1) “Towards an Approach to Prevent Long Methods Based on Architecture-Sensitive Recommendations” accepted to VEM 2016, from authors Marcos Dósea, Cláudio Sant’Anna and Cleverton Santos; (2) “Uma Abordagem para Prevenir a Erosão do Design baseada em Recomendações Sensíveis à Arquitetura” accepted to WTDSOFT 2016, from authors Marcos Dósea and Cláudio Sant’Anna; and (3) “ContextLongMethod: Uma Ferramenta Sensível à Arquitetura para Detecção de Métodos Longos” accepted to TOOLS Session 2016 , from authors Cleverton Santos, Marcos Dósea and Cláudio Sant’Anna.

FIWARE Workshop at CIn/UFPE

INES researcher Herbertt Diniz (CIn/UFPE) will give a FIWARE workshop, providing an overview on that platform. A similar workshop was provided in may, for the participants of Hackacity.

Prof. Giovanny Lucero from UFS visits UFPE

Prof. Giovanny Lucero, from UFS and researcher of INES,  will visit UFPE to work collaboratively on projects about algebraic laws of object oriented programming and formal refactorings with profs. Augusto Sampaio and Alexandre Mota. The visit will take place on 22 and 23 August.
