  • Reseracher from UFS performs collaborations at CIn/UFPE

    Giovanny Lucero, researcher of INES from UFS,  will visit the CIn/UFPE in order to continue collaborative works in projects about formal refactoring with professors Augusto Sampaio and Alexandre Mota. The visit will take place on the period from 9 to 25 October.

  • INES at Middleware 2016

    Professor Gibeon Aquino will attend the 17th International Middleware Conference. The conference will be held in Trento, Italy, from December 12th to 16th, 2016. This conference is an important forum for the discussion of innovations and recent advances in the design, implementation, deployment, and evaluation of distributed system platforms and architectures for computing, storage, and communication environments. This activity is part of the project “Indolor – Indoor Location Radar”.

    Professor Natasha Lima and colaborators publish the paper “GeneticBee: A Theoretic and Evolutionary Formulation for the Energy Efficiency Problem of Urban Trains” at IEEE ANDESCON 2016 (Andean Council International Conference). This activity is part of the project  “Investigating Algorithms, Techniques and Tools for Search Based Software Engineering”.

    Bernadette Farias Lóscio will attend the Smart Descriptions & Smarter Vocabularies (SDSVoc) Workshop that will be held in Amsterdã, on 30 November-1 December. This workshop aims to clarify the steps needed to improve communication between data repositories and applications that use that data, such as virtual research environments. The event is supported by W3C and the VRE4EIC project that receives funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.

    Professor Tiago Massoni will attend the SBMF 2016, the main Brazilian conference on formal methods, providing a forum for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, experiences and concerns in the field of formal methods.

    This activity is part of the project Refactoring Method for Data Structures — in portuguese, Refatoramento de Programas para Migração entre Estruturas de Dados.

    INES researcher Kiev Gama (CIn/UFPE) will attend to the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) in Barcelona, Spain, for presenting the work “From hackathons to interdisciplinary incubators: a path to a citizen-centered innovation ecosystems”. The event will be held from the 15th to the 17th of November 2016.
