Prof. Klaus Schmid is going to visit UFBA

Prof. Dr. Klaus Schmid from University of Hildesheim is going to visit UFBA for a period of three months. Dr. Klaus will perform a sabbatical at the university working with professor Eduardo Almeida, his students and the members of the Software Engineering Lab.

INES is acquiring Access controls

INES labs at UFBA is acquiring access controls for the labs. The infra structure will be used by all projects at the university.

Professors Silvia Abrahao and Emilio Insfran, from UPV, are going to visit UFBA in August-September. The visit is part of the project An Investigation of Methods, Processes, Tools, and Metrics for the Development of Software Product Lines (SPL) — in portuguese, Uma Investigação de Processos, Ferramentas e Métricas para o Desenvolvimento de Linhas de Produto de Software.

During this visit, the professors will give talks and have meetings with students and professors.

Professor Ivica Crnkovic, from Mälardalen University (MDH), is going to visit UFBA in August-September. The visit is part of the project An Investigation of Methods, Processes, Tools, and Metrics for the Development of Software Product Lines (SPL) — in portuguese, Uma Investigação de Processos, Ferramentas e Métricas para o Desenvolvimento de Linhas de Produto de Software.

During this visit, professor Ivica will give talks and have meetings with students and professors.

INES at IEEE Computer

INES researchers members from the project An Investigation of Methods, Processes, Tools, and Metrics for the Development of Software Product Lines (SPL) — in portuguese, Uma Investigação de Processos, Ferramentas e Métricas para o Desenvolvimento de Linhas de Produto de Software, had one accepted paper at IEEE Computer Magazine. IEEE Computer is considered one of the main venues in the computer science field. The paper will be availabe in the October issue about Dynamic Software Product Lines.

INES researchers members from the project An Investigation of Methods, Processes, Tools, and Metrics for the Development of Software Product Lines (SPL) — in portuguese, Uma Investigação de Processos, Ferramentas e Métricas para o Desenvolvimento de Linhas de Produto de Software, had two accepted papers at 6th Brazilian Symposium on Software Components, Architectures and Reuse (SBCARS).

The papers are:
